He was predeceased by: his father John Cable; his wife Ann Wright Cable; his children, Brian "Heavy Duty" Cable, Carol Danette Cable Johnson and Melissa Dawn Cable; and his brothers, James "Jimmy" Cable, Lloyd Cable and Vernon Cable.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Ann Cable Triplett of Dorton; his sisters, Lois Belcher of Shelby Gap, Margaret Goodson of Dorton, Rachael Cable of Jonancy and Grace Potter of Dorton; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Jessica, Aaron, Anthony and Bethany; and his great grandchildren, Catherine, Adrianna, Brianna, Grayson and Everliegh.
