He is survived by: his son Doug McDaniel (Dawnita) of Walton, KY.; his stepdaughter Melissa Pierson (Timothy Hagedorn) of Florence, KY.; his siblings, Judy Menninger (Bob) of Ft. Thomas, KY., Robert McDaniel, Sr. (Pauline) of Dry Ridge, KY., Irvin McDaniel, Jr. (Naomi) of Independence, KY., Jerry McDaniel of Crittenden, KY. and Don; his grandchildren, Krystal Mosley of Covington, KY., Josh Sanders of Newport, KY., Angel Mosley of Kenton County, Doug McDaniel, Jr., Madelynn McDaniel of Walton, KY. and Austin McDaniel of Dayton, KY.; and his stepgrandchildren, Hunter Tucker of Florence, KY., Hayden "Trapper" Pierson of Cleves, OH. and Abby Thomas of Grant County, KY.. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
