We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Flora Lee Melton of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, born in Clay, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Flora shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Flora farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Bradley and Dora Isabell Howard Ferguson; her husband Paul Melton; and her daughter Christine King. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Simpson (David Michael) of Williamstown and Jeffrey Lee Melton (Denise) of Dry Ridge; and her son-in-law Darrell King.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McDaniel Funeral Home - Dry Ridge (30 S Main St, Dry Ridge, KY 41035). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Hill Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1733 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504.
