It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Cheevers of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Mary Jane's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Aloysius and Audrey Amelia Cunning Cheevers. She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Sumpter of Dry Ridge and Paul Michael Cheevers of Dry Ridge; and her brother Matthew Cheevers of Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dry Ridge Christian Church (13 School St, Dry Ridge, KY 41035).
