He is survived by: his wife Linda Messer of Dry Ridge; his siblings, Ray Messer of Hebron, Alice "Eddie" Starnes of Union and Bobby Messer (Lisa) of Owenton, Kentucky; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Hall of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Kenneth Gentry (Connie) of Warsaw and Frankie Gentry (Pam) of Walton, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
