He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Cottongim Sr. and Minnie Beatrice Cottongim; and his brother Glenn Cottongim. He is survived by: his wife Lois Cottongim of Dunmor, KY; his children, Dr. Toni Cottongim Kluck (Robert) of Erlanger, KY, Tracy Courtney (Stacey) of Melber, KY and Brian Cottongim of Dunmor, KY; his grandchildren, Robert Kluck (Brittany), Erika Kluck, Connor Kluck (Halley), Madeline Kluck, Matthew Kluck, Rebekah Walters (Jimmy), Reid Courtney and Rafe Courtney; his great grandchildren, Beatrixe, Ava, Eleanor and Rosemary; and his sister Mary Nancy Gambrell of Lexington, KY.
