He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Marie Spears; his sister Laura Marie Spears Goble; and his nephew Christopher "Beagle" Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Stacy Spears; his son Justin Dee Spears (Brandi); his grandsons, Kaiden and Branson Spears; his daughter Shera Lynn "Winnie Pooh" Wagoner (Ryan); his sibling's children, Ellen Blanton (Josh), Samantha May (Brandon), Jeffrey Goble (Jackie) and Brandon; his cousins, Tealie Prater and Bonnie Thompson; his stepchildren, Crystal Horne, Chuck Horne, Mark Horne, Laura Pinson and Keith Ramey; his grandson Jordan Horne; Summer. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Hall Funeral Home, to help off set funeral expenses.
