She was predeceased by: her parents, Bird Preston and Mae Lanham; her husband Robert "Bob" Steckler; her great grandchild Reghan Steckler; and her sisters, Lorna Anthony and Joyce Whitfield.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Steckler (Tara) of Littleton, Devra Steckler (Ken) of Madisonville, KY, Lisa Steckler Jones of Earlington, KY, Paul Steckler of Earlington, KY and Karen Hendricks (Brian) of Nortonville, KY; her grandchildren, Keenan Woodruff, Austin Steckler, Amber Steckler, Susie Steckler, Alex Steckler and Owen Hendricks; her stepgrandchildren, Ches and Cam; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Ratliff, Ashlyn Ratliff, Alivia Steckler, Weston Steckler, Axel Steckler, Amelia Steckler, Hudson Hendricks, Zeke Steckler and Zalie Steckler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (112 S Day St, Earlington, KY 42410). A funeral Mass was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
