She was predeceased by: her parents, James Everett and Joyce Dean Hale; and her husband James "Sonny" L. Massey. She is survived by: her children, Mark Vaughn (Lisa) of Madisonville, KY, Kathy Seigler (Danny) of St. Charles, KY, Rhonda Carter (Bill) of Earlington, KY, Christopher Massey (Amanda) of Madisonville, KY, Matthew Massey of Madisonville, KY and Dixie Massey of Earlington, KY; and her siblings, Roxanne Mason of Smyrna, TN and James Daniel Hale of Madisonville, KY. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; and four nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Life Apostolic Church (1630 S Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
