Sharon Simons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Simons of Earlington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Beth Fox Vaughn and C. W. Vaughn; her husband William Daniel "Danny" Simons; and her son-in-law Richard "Ritch" Metcalfe. She is survived by: her children, Wade Simons (Kim) of St. Charles, KY and Allison Metcalfe of Madisonville; her brother Barry Vaughn of Madisonville; her grandchildren, Shelby Simons and Brandon Simons (Aubrie); her stepgrandchildren, David Metcalfe (Shana) and Jennifer Metcalfe-Dube (James); her great grandchildren, Ellie, Addie, Cash, Octavia and Beckett; and her pet Susie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharon's memory to the Hopkins County Humane Society, 2210 Laffoon Trail, Madisonville KY 42431.
