He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Scott and Mary Edna Grimes Scott; his grandchild Jordan Scott; and his brothers, Les and Roger Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Anders Scott; his children, Kristin Deaton (Cody) of Corbin, Kentucky, Tiffany Smith (Nathan) of East Bernstadt, Teena Dean (Jacob) of East Bernstadt, Peyton Bobbitt of East Bernstadt and Bradley Scott (Anna) of Columbia, Kentucky.; his siblings, Teresa Bowling of London, Teddy Scott of Berea and Shirley Lamb (Larry) of Richmond, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Bailee, Bella, Blakely, Carter, Jake, Reagan, Bryson, Raelynn and Emma; and his great grandchild Eden.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
