With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Kenneth Davis of East Point, Kentucky, who passed away on November 26, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Eugene Davis and Melissa Dorayne Reed Colvin; his son Thomas Eugene Davis; and his sister Bonnie Reynolds. He is survived by: his close friend Pauline Terry of Flat Gap, Kentucky; his siblings, Douglas Davis (Phyllis) of Nippa, Danny Davis (Cheri) of Hager Hill, Kentucky, Flora Grimm of East Point, Amanda DeBoard (Kennis) of East Point, Rowena Ward (James) of Staffordsville and Vivian Conley (Delbert) of Flat Gap, Kentucky; his brother-in-law Clifford Reynolds; and his granddaughter Karena Dorayne Davis (Zachary Baldwin).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
