It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Tuttle Bannon in Eastern, Kentucky, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Tuttle and Mayme Freeman Tuttle; her former husband Curran Lee Troutwine Jr.; her daughter Teresa Brumley; her son-in-law Ack Lee Harned; her grandson Curt Troutwine; her siblings, Clavis Tuttle, Warren "Dolly" Tuttle, Jesse Tuttle and Betty Tuttle; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Tuttle, Leona Tuttle and Lois Tuttle.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ashcraft Harned and Curran Lee Troutwine III (Betty); her husband Jim Bannon (Marilyn); her son-in-law Michael Brumley; her grandchildren, Susan Hobbs (Kevin), Kimberly Harned and Clint Smith; her great grandchildren, Tyler Hobbs, Kaylee Hobbs, Braden Hobbs (Kristen), Clayton Smith and Taylor Smith; and her brother Benny Tuttle. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
