With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Joe Barnes of Eastview, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Neddie Columbus and Mabel Hughes Barnes; his wife Zelma Rae Barnes; his stepdaughter Belinda Barnes; and his siblings, Jerry, Donnie, Russell, Kenny, Billy, Junie Barnes and Darlene Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Lillie Ann (Dale Goins), Joe (Barbara Barnes) and Joanne (Ricky Kappell); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Cody, Miranda, Melinda, Crystal and Elizabeth. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
