We bid farewell to Gene Gaither of Echols, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 15, 2026 at the age of 92. Gene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Clay and Tassie Gaither; his wife Evelyn; his son Chris; and his siblings, Wilber, Hontas, Dale Barnard, Marjorie Krickovich, Richard, Ralph, James, Mandy Lou Gaither, Loraine Reid, Joe and Jack.
He is survived by: his sister Barbara Quisenberry; his children, John Gaither (Melissa), Todd Gaither (Becky) and April Schneider (Shaun); his grandchildren, Clay Gaither, Hilary Gaither, Hali Simpson, Katie Sam Smith, Emily Duncan, Alex Gaither and Alexandria Schneider; and his great grandchildren, KyLee, Kalix, Collin, Keeley, Henry, Callie, Avery, Alice, Jack and Mattie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made in the form of contributions to Pond Run Cemetery Fund or Pond Run Baptist Church.
