He was predeceased by : his parents, George William Lee, Sr. and Allene Mahoney Lee; his son Joseph Lee; and his siblings, Dwayne Lee, Michael Lee, Rhoda Satchwell and Debbie Doolin.

He is survived by : his wife Kathy Brooks Lee of Sparta, KY; his sons, Eric M. Lee (Neece) of Carrollton, KY and David S. Lee (Elizabeth) of Sparta, KY; his daughter-in-law Rachel Lee of Donna, TX; and his siblings, Lloyd Lee of Worthville, KY, Evangelene Harsin of Verona, KY and Sharon Lee of Carrollton. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home (809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY 41008). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at the Cemetery Seminary St.
