He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Scherder and Evelyn Scherder; and his siblings, Donna Flick and James Scherder. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Hutchison (late Robert), Thomas J. Scherder (Laney), Marilyn Russell (Fred), Karen Scherder (Ray) and Deborah Broughton (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pike, Fort Wright, KY 41017). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Barbara Church (4042 Turkeyfoot Rd, Erlanger, KY 41018).
