With solemn reverence, we commemorate Louise Goerschler in Edgewood, Kentucky, born in Big Spring, Texas, whose life came to an end on December 3, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul S. Goerschler; her parents, William T. Boadle and Mona Mae Henderson Boadle; and her siblings, Doris McIntyre (Frank), Robert Boadle (Cynthia) and Ben Boadle (Madeline).
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Tofilon (John) of South Barrington, IL, Steven Goerschler of Glen Ellyn, IL, Teresa Hughes (Bill) of Lexington, KY, Jeanette Waits (Tim) of Union, KY and Amie Humphrey (Dwayne) of Union, KY.; and her grandchildren, David Tofilon (Vanessa), Christopher Tofilon (Andrea), Kaitlin Sternberg (Neil), Kyle Goerschler (Lauren), Rebecca Sweeney (Zack), Ben Hughes (Emily), Steven Hughes (Alisa), Elizabeth Williams (Stephen), Melissa DiChiara (Michael), Aaron Waits (Sarah), Hannah Hilvert (Matt) and Joshua Humphrey. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Alzheimer's Association or First United Methodist Church, Georgetown, KY.
