It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Martin Murray (Edgewood, Kentucky), who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Murray and Jane Murray; his former wife Jean Murray (Meyer); and his siblings, Tom Murray and Janeen Ratliff.
He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his daughters, Kim Napier (Greg), Cathy Benson (Eric) and Jenny Brueggemann (Andy); his stepdaughters, Tricia Redmond and Michelle Rose (Bobby); his sister Colleen Brockman; his grandchildren, Drew Napier (Katie), Abby Napier, Claire Benson, Gunnar Benson (Andi), Sophia Benson, Shelby Wilkens (Joe), Brooke Brueggemann, Haley Brueggemann, Hunter Brueggemann, Isabella Meyer, Callie Schneider, Luke Schneider and Ava Schneider; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Napier, Sawyer Wilkens and Sloane Wilkens.
A Mass will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the St. Pius X Church (348 Dudley Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
