With sadness, we share the passing of Robert Lee Prather in Edgewood, Kentucky. Robert, born on December 29, 1942 in Somerset, Kentucky, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Prather and Ruth Ella Prather; his stepmother Lecta Prather; his siblings, Russell Prather and Margie Harlow; and his stepbrother Gene Lafavers.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Prather; his children, Jon "Rob" Prather (Christine), Jill Prather, Jenna Stadtmiller (Kyle) and Jason Prather (Abi); his grandchildren, Rob Hill, Cassidy Prather, Blake Hill, Christen Thompson (Tanner), Lyndsay Prather, Casey Acree, Garrett Acree, Willie Stadtmiller, Waylon Stadtmiller, Hank Stadtmiller, Murphy Prather, Johnny Stadtmiller and Delaney Prather; his stepgrandchildren, Jake Paliobeis and Hannah Paliobeis; his great grandchildren, Owen Thompson, Bennett Wright and Parker Thompson; his siblings, Ed Prather (Susan) and Patty Bryson; and his sister-in-law Melva Prather.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the White House Event Center (251 Dudley Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017).
