He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Redix and Ella Mae Redix; his wife Mary Magdalene Redix; his daughter Karen Redix; and his sisters, Joann Kennedy, Marcella Hensley and Marilyn Ford.

He is survived by: his children, Randall Redix (BJ), Deborah Oberschlake (Paul), Jana Baker (Dennis) and Rita Stone (Danny); and his grandchildren, William Stone (Meghan) and Mary Kennedy (Jimmy). He is also survived by his caretakers, 10 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
