Sonya leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sonya’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sonya will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Basye and Pauline Basye; and her siblings, Jimmy Basye and Debbie Bayse. She is survived by: her husband Frank Campbell; her sons, Bryan Scott Campbell (Stephanie) and Michael Shane Campbell (Laurie); her granddaughter Bryanne Campbell; and her sisters, Pamela Rhodus and Robin Glenn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
