He is survived by: his daughters, Rachelle Schmitz (Jeff) of Edgewood, Julia Holocher (Tyler) of Hyde Park and Nicole Volpenhein; his grandchildren, Sammi, Weston, Ben, Luka, Celeste and Charley; and his siblings, Jim Volpenhein, Carla Brose (Ken) of Union and Gina Martini (Greg) of Sea Island, Georgia..
