Tonya Gail Hammel Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 27, 2026, at the age of 59, Tonya Gail Hammel (Edgewood, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robinson and Juanita Robinson; and her siblings, Patty Kuhn and Tommy Robinson. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hammel; her children, Josh Robinson (Lisa), Derrick Robinson (Jessica), Meagan Hammel (Eric), Allyssa Hammel (Christian) and Kellcee Hammel (Graham); her grandchildren, Noa, Lila, Maci, Remington, Jonah and Zoe; and her siblings, Jim Robinson (Gail), Debbie Wood (Danny) and Terry Robinson (Billie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Tonya wished for donations to be made to Teal We Find a Cure in support of ovarian cancer awareness and research.
