She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Phillippi and Lillian Phillippi; and her brothers, Don Phillippi, Gene Phillippi, Billy Phillippi and Rod Phillippi.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Smiley; her children, Rita Kirby (Mike) and Charlie Smiley (Paula); her grandchildren, Casey Perry, Codey Perry, Jeremy Smiley (Laura) and Brooke Smiley; and her siblings, Ann Thompson (Don), Parker Phillippi, Sue Sutton, Margie Garner (Kelly) and Kathy Randolph (Charles). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild along with many other loving family members and friends.
