We bid farewell to Sue Acree of Edmonton, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 5, 2025 at the age of 90. Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Virgie Kate Frogge Compton; her husband Jack Acree; and her siblings, Mary Froedge, Henry Compton, Kathleen Clemmons, Pauline Hughes Hodges, Sybil Grace Compton, Mattie Lundy, Howard Compton, Florence Thompson and Marcum Compton.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Harper (Robert Seay) of Edmonton, KY and Pete Acree (Ann) of Summer Shade, KY; and her grandchildren, Susan Barton, Cameron Saltsman (Shelly), Anne George (Gary), Peter Saltsman (Rose), Jonathan Acree (Laura), Laurell Garrett (Daniel), Virginia Grace Acree and Robert Evan Acree (Kirby). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
