He was predeceased by: his parents, Overton South and Dorothy Rock South; his brother David South; his nephew Chris South; and his great-nephew Caleb Eastridge.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lynn Daugherty South; his son Matthew Aaron South (Tina); his grandsons, Luke Aaron South (Molly) and Isaac Paul South; his brother Joel South (Debbie); his sister-in-law Judy South; his niece Lorie Ann Eastridge (Mike); and his great-niece Hillary Taylor (Josh). He is also survived by other cousins and family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (201 East St, Edmonton, KY 42129). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideon Bibles, an organization dedicated to sharing the Word of God with those in need. Donations may be made in Tim's memory.
