He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Heckathorn; and his father Thomas Heckathorn. He is survived by: his mother Diane Wright; his stepfather John Wright of Elizabethtown, KY; his siblings, Jerry Heckathorn of Petal, MS and Sarah Niles; his half-brother John Wright of Radcliff, KY; and his stepsister Anna Papis. He is also survived by 3 step-daughters; and 1 step-son.
