He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Butler; his grandson John Sprinkle (Junior); his parents, Husa Butler and Bessie Butler (Ford); and his siblings, Walter Butler, Edith Dardy, Earlene Allen, Margie Montgomery and Dorothy Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Butler and Gwen Butler; his grandchildren, Lynn Reins (Travis) and Bobbie Jo Butler; his great grandchildren, Gage, Xander, Scarlett Reins, Matthew Humphrey, Destiney Wilson and Jeremy Garlinger; and his sister Lydia Mae Butler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
