He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Whitley and Mae Ferguson Whitley; his wife Gwendolyn Kelly Whitley; and his brothers, Dean Whitley, Lewis Whitley, Joe Whitley, Rev. Jerry Whitley and Howard Whitley.
He is survived by : his sons, Marcus Whitley (Stacey) of Leitchfield and Donnie Whitley of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Landon Pauley Whitley, Sydne Hope Whitley, Ian Hinson and Ethan Hinson (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Aubrey Hinson, Keaston Hinson and Ahliana Hinson; his sister Charlotte Callahan; and his pet Beng.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens (700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY 42718).
Memorials are suggested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
