She was predeceased by: her parents, William Delmar and Maudie Bell Riggs; and her sister Janice Riggs Reynolds. She is survived by: her children, Brian Lain Cottrell (Myra) of Upton, KY and Dedra Kay Scott (Darryl) of Elizabethtown, KY; her grandchildren, Holly Dawn Pence (Dustin) and Caden Lain Cottrell of Upton, KY; her brother Norman Dale Riggs (Debra) of Campbellsville, KY; her nephews, Barry Cottrell, Larry Cottrell, Garry Cottrell, Kerry Cottrell, Christopher Riggs and Trey Lyon; and her niece Renee Brown Holbert.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home - Upton (215 N Walnut St, Upton, KY 42784).
