He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Spalding and Ailene Spalding (Akers); his wife Sharon Jaggers Spalding of Valentine's Day; and his siblings, Tommy Spalding, Shirley Richmer and Marilyn Currier.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Spalding Mabini, Sherry Patton, Tony and Troy Trulock; his grandchildren, Nicholas Anthony (Courtney), Shanilah, Daren (Sam), Meldin Mabini, JoAndre Bogle, Verena Tracy (Brandon), Coty Patton (Katie), Katrina Irwin (Caleb), Ashley Lloyd (Cody), Christopher, Justin, Katie, Johnathan Trulock, Amy Jenkins and Amber Reynolds; his great grandchildren, Kai Anthony, Maverick Sawyer, Oliver Woodson, Maddox Donovan, Kahlani Aliyah Mabini, Braylen Hiner, Joseph Edward Fowler, Hunter, Emma, Loxlee Tracy, Rosalee, Benton, Braxton, Priscilla, Chloe, Gavin Lloyd, Kinsley and Chandler Irwin; and his siblings, Bobby, Charles Pat Spalding and Betty Atcher. He is also survived by numerous other great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hager Funeral Home (633 Bland St, Brandenburg, KY 40108). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
