He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey Hester Murphy and Lonie Mae Tennyson Murphy; and his brothers, William Murphy and James Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Murphy; his sons, Pat Murphy (Missi) and Tony Murphy (Debbie); his sister Barbara Meredith; and his grandchildren, April, Dawn, Kimberly, Anthony and Andra. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
