He is survived by: his mother Velma Cobb (Roy) of Elizabethtown, KY; his significant other Lori West of Elizabethtown, KY.; his children, James Matthew West of Elizabethtown, KY, Michael Ricker, Kailen Murphy (Dillon) of Elizabethtown, KY, Tara West (James Stallins) of Elizabethtown, KY and Amanda Branhan of Paintsville; and his grandchildren, Hailey, Aubrey, Paysley, Josie, Charli, Bentley, Hukseon, Dixie, Kayd and Claira.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (401 W Poplar St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
