Kenneth Mather Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Mather of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Mather; his sons, Michael and Randy Mather; and his daughter-in-law Peggy Mather. He is survived by: his son David Mather (Vickie Jackson) of Elizabethtown; his stepson Jeff Metcalf (Ashley) of Hodgenville; his siblings, Ann Brewer of Hodgenville, Wilma Hovious of Hodgenville, Jeannette Gardner (Ruben) of Elizabethtown, Norma Sue Ballinger of Elizabethtown and Hugh "Roy" Mather (Angie) of Rineyville; and his grandchildren, Emily Carter, Ariel Metcalf, Kenneth Daniel Mather, Ethan Metcalf and Jessica Belue. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at the Red Hill Cemetery (315 S Greensburg St, Hodgenville, KY 42748).
