Lula Faye Kennedy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lula Faye Kennedy of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lula Faye Kennedy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Raymond and Lillian Milby Strader; her husband Ardis Odell Kennedy; and her siblings, David, John Richard, Jr., Charles Strader, Sandra Daugherty and Wanda Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kennedy, Darrence Kennedy (Janet), Chris Kennedy (Sharon) and Debbie Hines (Tim); her sisters, Cindy Babb and Phyllis Humphrey; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Jacob, Aaron, Sam, Nick, Eric, Devan and Daniel. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trowbridge Funeral Home - Elizabethtown (234 W Dixie Ave, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Youngers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (251 Youngers Creek Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701).
