Marianne Lucas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marianne Lucas of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Ruhland and Maria Ruhland (Hessen) of Friedberg; her sisters, Ursula Lorei and Christel Seckinger; and her sons, Jerry Lucas and Michael Ruhland.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Lucas; her children, Patricia Lucas, Christina Ballard (Larry) and Tony Lucas (Bev); her grandchildren, Sean Ballard (Olivia), Trey Ballard (Holly), Chris Ballard (Sarah), Jonathan Lucas and Conner Lucas (Anna); her great grandchildren, Faith Ballard, Gavin Ballard, Kaden Ballard, Collin Ballard, Adam Lucas, Jaxon Lucas and Emerson Ballard; her close friend Siegie Gibbs; her nieces, Christine Dugan and Petra Manning; and her aunts, Darlene Caudill and Charlotte Michaels. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marianne's memory may be made to Hosparus Health Central Kentucky, to support their compassionate care for individuals and families in need.
