It is with sadness that the passing of Marlene May Reed of Elizabethtown, Kentucky is shared. Marlene, born on August 21, 1943, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Miller and Betty Higgason Miller; her daughter Becky Nash; her grandson Bryon Nash; her great grandchild Summer Valadez; and her brothers, Steve Miller and Jeffrey Christianson.
She is survived by: her husband John "JW" Reed; her children, John Reed, Jason Reed (Stacey) and Cheri Kimble (Mike); her sister Beth Hunt; and her pet Teddy. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trowbridge Funeral Home - Elizabethtown (234 W Dixie Ave, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Union Christian Church Cemetery.
