She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn Jerome and Lizzie Kearson Jackson; and her former husband Victor Owens. She is survived by: her son Donald Keith; her daughter-in-law Jenny V. Owens; and her siblings, Martha Snead and Milburn J. Jackson, Jr.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
