He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Terry and Theodore Terry; his daughter Patricia N. Bailey; and his brother James T. Terry. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Terry; his children, James N. Terry, Steven N. Terry (Carolyn) and Christina N. King (David); and his sister Frances Vadella. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
