She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Hernandez and Maria Delfina Hernandez; her former husband James McGee; and her siblings, Gloria Smith, Adela Biones, Jesus and Ruben Hernandez.
She is survived by: her sister Sarah Stills; her former husband Benjamin Boix; and her children, Gloria Hernandez, Lori Moses (Mo), David McGee (Angie) and James McGee. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dementia/Alzheimer's Foundation in memory of Lela.
