She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Taylor and Lena Spencer Taylor; her former husband G. Wayne Hodges; and her siblings, Gene Taylor, Gerald Taylor and Wanda Hart.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Lawson; her children, Glenda Salmon (Jason), Nathan Hodges (Kimberly) and Vonda Dennis (Tommy); her grandchildren, Gage Salmon, Anna Dean (Levi), Keri Hodges, Emily Hodges, Lily McDaniel (Brady), Justin Dennis, Heidi Dennis, Jill Dennis and Sadie Dennis; and her great grandchildren, Theo, Asa and Piper Dean.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Manakee Funeral Home - Elizabethtown (2098 Leitchfield Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
