She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Shefton; her parents, Barton Lundquist and Helen Lundquist; her grandson James Newton; and her siblings, Chuckie, Barbara and Michael.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Newton, Diana Higgins and Claudia Shefton; her grandchildren, Robert, Brianna, Caryna, Jacqueline, Jonathan and Sonja; and her sister Donna Colberg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chism Family Funeral Home (769 Highland Ave, Vine Grove, KY 40175). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
