He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Vittitoe Edlin Burkhead; his children, Donald Owen Burkhead, Connie Cothern (Terry) and Linda Comley (Tony); his stepdaughters, Denise Houston (Charles) and Beverly Fulkerson (Greg); his grandchildren, Kris Riggs, Jason Burkhead, Tiffany Corder (Brian) and Kristy Rust (Gary); and his stepgranddaughters, Rachel Sieg (Danny) and Karin Dolan (Tom). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
