Wilma Hovious Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma Hovious of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Hovious; her daughters, Robin Benningfield and Wanda Hovious Graham; her parents, Maurice Mather and Bertrice Spratt Mather; her great grandchild Kharmon Hovious; and her siblings, Kenny Mather, Harold Gordon Mather, Betty Jane Durall, Gladys Mather and Gerald Mather.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Mather of Elizabethtown, Adrian Hovious of New Mexico and Bradley Hovious of Magnolia; and her siblings, Hugh "Roy" Mather (Angie) of Rineyville, Ann Brewer of Hodgenville, Jeanette Gardner (Ruben) of Elizabethtown and Norma Sue Ballinger of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
