We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Buford Tungate of Elk Horn, Kentucky, born in Danville, Illinois. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Buford leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Thomas Tungate Sr. and Viola Noel Tungate. He is survived by: his brother Oliver Tungate (Ruth) of Elk Horn; and his aunt Margaret Doris Noel of Tennessee. He is also survived by several cousins and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brookside Cemetery West Main.
