Misty James Obituary
We announce the death of Misty James of Elkfork, Kentucky, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 45. Misty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her children, Dylan McConnell, Matthew Bush, Braxton Bush, Ethan Ross, Colton Watson, Elijah Taulbee, Hunter Taulbee, Emma Howard (Donovon), Raven Bush and Macie Ross; her grandchildren, Kenzely Bush, Gracelyn Paul and Bjorn McConnell; her parent Brenda Kidd Crase (Raymond Crase); her stepfather Raymond Crase of Elkfork, Kentucky; and her sister Shelby Wright.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Porter and Son Funeral Directors (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Bailey Cemetery.
