It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Collins (Elkhorn City, Kentucky), born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Willie Daniel Thacker; and her siblings, James Thacker, Rocky Thacker and Rhonda Thacker. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Ann Thacker of Regina, KY; her husband Jesse Collins of Bowling Fork, KY; her children, Willie Collins (Christie) of Soddy-Daisy, TN and Jesse Ann Adkins (Clinard "Bubby") of Rockhouse, KY; her grandchildren, Emily Adkins, Abby Adkins, Isaiah Adkins and Will Collins; and her brothers, Steve Thacker of Regina, KY, Smitty Thacker of Lexington, KY, Dwayne Fitch of Floyd County, KY. and Joe Fitch of Floyd County, KY..
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
