He was predeceased by : his parents, Corble Leslie "Bud" Knight and Alma Elizabeth Trainer Knight; and his siblings, William, Ford, George Albert, Joe Knight, Woodrow Lindsey, Catherine Knight and Lily Mae Knight.

He is survived by : his wife Wanda Utley Knight of Elkton; his children, Kent Knight (Penny) of Elkton, Keith Knight (Sherry) of Elkton, Kristi Mallory (Eddie) of Elkton and Karen Lyon (Allen) of Elkton; and his siblings, Gene Knight of Greenridge, KY and Dorothy Knight of Owensboro, KY. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
