She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Heffner and Ethel Daugherty Heffner; and her brother Raymond Heffner. She is survived by: her husband James E. Duke; her son James E. Duke, Jr. (Clarissa); her grandchildren, Natalie, Kate Baker (Bryan), Myranda Duke and Nathan Duke; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, James, Abigail and Kathryn Baker.
